Wildlife
We've got lots wildlife!!

Driving along US 65, keep your eyes open for a glimpse of the bird that scientists think may be extinct.

The last place the  bird was seen for certain was along US 65 in Madison Parish.

You will likely see armadillos, 'coons, 'possums, deer, and other wild animals, as you simply drive along the highway.

Watch for deer along the roadways, turtles in the road, or even snakes.  Do your best to avoid running over these critters, because they all serve a purpose in the wild, and our roadways run directly through their territory, not the other way around.  opossum
