Rural communities are rich with local knowledge and appreciate their own natural and cultural heritage. 

Delta 65 assists, enhances and promotes the communities along Highway 65 in Louisiana as visitor destinations, showcasing the rich cultural, historic, natural, and recreational heritage of the area, and helping to preserve and perpetuate the area's unique rural way of life along the 117 miles of Hwy 65 in Louisiana, increasing awareness of its unique resources as a premier heritage tourism destination, which will benefit the area's people, their communities, and the public. 

Increasing revenue through tourism is essential for the cultural and economic health of this agricultural region. 

This group has joined together to lay out the "WELCOME" mat, inviting others to "Come See What We've Got!"
